Overview
The goal of this project was to enhance the vehicle insurance quotation experience, as the previous version did not clearly display all the benefits, available plans, or address key customer concerns. Additionally, the design was outdated and not aligned with the current Design System.
Challenge
The challenge was to redesign this internal page, applying the Design System to ensure visual consistency, accessibility, and a better understanding of the insurance offer, ultimately improving the user experience and making decision-making easier.
My role
➝ Ensure the implementation of the Design System in the new version of the quote tool, maintaining visual and functional consistency.
➝ Collaborate with UI/UX designers to define and optimize the components and patterns used in the interface.
➝ Update and document new components required for the project within the Design System.
➝ Ensure accessibility by validating compliance with WCAG standards and usability best practices.
➝ Work closely with the development team to facilitate the correct implementation of components and resolve technical questions.
➝ Conduct design reviews to ensure the new experience aligns with the company's digital ecosystem.
➝ Optimize the system’s scalability, ensuring components can be reused for future improvements in the quote tool and other products.

New colors were also created for cross-use in various sales scenarios.

Creation of slot-based components: Since these components were intended to be reusable across multiple projects, they were developed as slots to enhance flexibility and accelerate deliverables.

Ensure that development teams use the design system's tokens and components.

Achievements:

✅ Creation of 7 new components, 4 of them in slot version.
✅ Documentation of modules for reuse in other workflows.
